Details of Temporary Suspension of Financial Transactions 2016.05.02

On June 7, 2016, a new KEB Hana Bank will emerge onto the financial landscape. KEB Hana Bank’s financial service will rise to a new level upon the integration of its IT system. To prepare for the integrated IT system’s launch, all financial transactions will be temporarily suspended.

  • All financial transactions will be suspended

    - Check cards linked to KEB Hana Bank account : Suspended
    - Short-term card loans (cash advance) : Partially suspended
    - Long-term card loans: Suspended
    - Hana Members services linked to a KEB Hana Bank’s account : Suspended
    (Reload / Withdraw from ATM / Deposit to My Account / Barcode-based settlement)

  • Purchases with a credit card (domestic and overseas)
  • Short-term card loan (cash advance)
    - Available through other banks’ ATMs only
  • File an accident report to the Call Center
  • Contact Call Center about irregular checks
  • Money exchange at Incheon/Gimhae airports

  • (former) KEB ATMs will be suspended from June 3, 2016 (Fri) at 16:00
  • (former) Hana Bank’s foreign currency remittance will be suspended earlier, starting on June 3 at 16:00
  • For details, refer to the Bank’s website and notices at branches
  • The scope and timing of service suspension may change based on the status of IT integration
2. Upgraded Customer Service

KEB Hana Bank’s financial service will rise to a new level following the integration of IT systems.

  • You will be able to use Bank branches and ATMs more easily and conveniently thanks to an increased number of branches and ATMs
  • You may continue to manage an ‘Instant Access Savings Deposit’ at any branch, regardless of its former status as a Hana Bank or KEB branch.
  • You may continue to use existing account numbers of (former) Hana Bank or (former) KEB, even after the integration of IT systems
  • You may use your preferred PC operating system (Windows, Mac O/S, Linux, etc.) and web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera) for Internet Banking, which was previously centered on Windows and Internet Explorer.
3. Fee Waiver Promotion

The Bank will waive certain fees to mark its newly integrated IT system
